We transformed an empty, unused room into a serene spa retreat for a boutique hotel in Nairobi. Clean lines, soft lighting, and natural materials create an atmosphere of calm.
The hotel had an extra room that was never used – no furniture, bare walls, poor lighting. They asked us to turn it into a relaxing spa where guests could book massages and wellness treatments. We designed a layout with a dedicated massage area, a small waiting lounge, and a discreet corner for towels and supplies. We installed dimmable warm LED lights, a water feature for white noise, and built-in shelves for aromatherapy oils. The colour palette uses soft earthy tones – taupe, sage green, and off-white – to encourage relaxation. The result: a peaceful, functional spa that now operates at near‑full occupancy every weekend.
